18+ [Higher Ed] What's your favorite science class?

I remember I had to take a year of science classes when I was in high school. My favorite science class was Chemistry, which I like the lab experience. I like to learn all sorts of chemical reactions and the interactions to each individual chemical. What's your favorite science class?
 
I love Zoology! I cannot forget my first experience in dissecting frogs. It was so fabulous because I was so fascinated to see what's inside the body of a frog and seeing those lungs inflate and deflate is priceless. That led me to become interested in medicine.

Oh, I see. That's an interesting subject. My college didn't have the Zoology courses, which I wasn't sure what kind of materials did students study. Did you go to medical school or something? Were you pursuing a degree in sort of like a Veterinary or something?
 
I enjoyed biology the most, though I can't say that I didn't enjoy chemistry lab. I wasn't as fond of chemistry lectures, though. Too much math for me. But I loved the study of living organisms, genetics and the like. I think it's truly fascinating. I have passed this interest down to my daughter apparently as she has an affinity for biology as well. She wants to be a marine biologist when she grows up!
 
For me Physics is the best subject because it deals with the most fundamental concepts of our world. It deals with the nature of existence, and can even be existential

Biology was my favourite subject. I especially loved studying about genetics. But what was strange was that I did better in Chemistry than Biology although I hated it. I would've loved to study Zoology! Sounds fun dissecting a frog :)
 
My favorite Science class was definitely Chemistry. I loved it because I was good at it.

However, as of right now, I don't remember anything that I've learned in those classes. My mind is now completely blank when I talk about Chemistry.

I'm not really a fan of Science anyways, so though I'm not good at it anymore, I would still say that Chemistry was my favorite science. class
 
Totally loved biology. I loved learning about living organisms, how they reacted with the world around them. I love genetics and learning how individuals are "made". It makes me have a deeper appreciation for the miracle of life. I loved the labs as well as the lectures. totally miss school just for the biology classes.

I would have to second this. My degree was in mathematical physics, and I loved it. Having said that I lean more to maths than physics. But physics is likely my favourite of the natural sciences. I am also a computer science person, and am actually about to be entering a Master's in it.
 
I loved biology. It definitely wasn't as "flashy" as chemistry, but the teacher I had was unbelievable and he was so engaging. I remember we used to look at cells through a microscope and I was fascinated by all of the detail. Chemistry was sort of a bummer for me, I thought it would be full of chemical reactions and making things explode but I had a mean teacher who just read from a textbook. I didn't hate physics and I did ok in it but I had no clue what was happening.
 
Definitely Physics. At least, the short time where we actually dwelt upon a little bit of quantum physics. I'm really fascinated with the theories and all, but I generally didn't appreciate our other subjects (Biology and Chemistry) pretty much because we focused more on the "computation" and the "memorization" rather than the part where we're actually getting involved in the process. It's like, they're treating our Science subjects as subjects we have to "pass", not subjects to "learn from".

Either way, I thank these subjects for giving me a chance to dwell upon topics I never thought I'd ever get interested in.
 
Ahh, I loved general science, Biology, and part of Chemistry. General science was a lot of fun and is probably my favorite among my favorites. Biology was fun too because of the experiments. And chemistry was very challenging.

As for physics, I was prepared to love that subject. But I never managed to get the hang of it. The topics were cool but I just seemed to get bored quickly.
 
Mine was Biology and Physics during High School. I had wonderful teachers back then. I loved Biology more though, especially genetics. I wanted to be a Genetic Engineer as one of my career choices. Exploring the wonders of the genes and how it makes all living things up was very fascinating to me.
 
I loved Human Anatomy. I loved learning about the systems of the body and how amazing we really are. I had great teachers who knew how to teach and make it fun. So, naturally, I loved it! I even love to learn about the human body today. The study of medicine would've been great if I didn't have to dissect things- that is the one thing I could not handle in school.
 
I loved Biology, specifically Biotechnology, which was part of the main curriculum. We did a lot of hands-on projects with finger printing, DNA-recognition and sampling, and forensic investigation. It was pretty awesome, now that I think about it.
 
I loved Chemistry classes in high school. The teacher was friendly and non intrusive while being a strong motivator. I liked the way Group 1 elements reacted with water. Organic Chemistry and its complex nature really captured my imagination. I wondered how a simple material like soap could have such a complex formula. I usually came tops in our chemistry class.
 
I love all science subjects, however my favorite science course that I have taken thus far is Field Biology. We worked in identifying local species of plants and animals native to our area. It was a great class because we were always outside, and I learned about some species of plants and animals that I did not even know existed in my area. Overall, I prefer biology and chemistry over earth science and physics, but I enjoy all sciences.
 
I really liked biology and chemistry. We had a fully functioning lab so most of the experiments that we had to learn, we did them in the chemistry lab. It's completely different just learning the theory behind something and actually doing the experiments.
 
I love them all. Biology, chemistry, geometry...keep going! I love them. They are so magnificent, such an incredible representation of what the human brain is capable of when it seeks to understand and describe reality for its own growth! <3
 
Chemistry! I really enjoyed the experiments we did in my chemistry class in high school, and I found that the topics came to me quite naturally.

Interestingly enough, my high school also offers forensics as a science class. I greatly enjoyed that as well! It often felt like I was on CSI. I remember that our first lab activity was assessing a crime scene; my teacher actually turned the entire classroom and part of the hallway into a crime scene! Complete with yellow tape. It was just a really fun and interesting class. I think my university offers it as well, and I think I would want to take that class as well.
