Should there be some reservation for economically backward students in the Schools

Education is the right of each and every child in the World. However, sometimes there are children who are not able to get education in the Schools or colleges due to financial constraints. In many cases, students are not able to complete there higher education due to this reason. Governments around the World take corrective measures in this regard. One of them is reserving seats for students belonging to the economically weaker sections of the Society. Such a reservation ensures that the deserving students are not forced to discontinue their education. Share your views and ideas regarding this topic.

Not all parents and guardians are financially stable. However, this should affect students under their care.Very many people have gone through high school and university with the help of well wishers. Education stakeholders should put in place mechanisms to help poor students achieve their academic dreams.Ironically, most of these financially challenged students are high performers. Unless they are sorted we should not talk about education for all.

Yesterday I read the post of my nephew who is a college professor in a state university. Students in that university are scholars who do not pay the expensive tuition fee for the high standard of education. My nephew's post is about the kind of students that he has in the classroom who are dominantly from wealthy families. That leave little room for poor students to avail of free education.

I think education is for everyone. It is a right and a privilege. But sometimes financial status or poverty is a good reason for others not to fulfill their education. However, there are scholars given the chance to achieve their desires. Government and private/foundations are working hand in hand to sustain the needs of a child. I just hope that anyone who has given the privilege to study should make use of it and take advantage to finish their studies.
