All Ages Geography Games

We have played a couple geography games at home. Some we have liked:

  • Scrambled States - to learn US states
  • Where In The World?
  • Sequence States and Capitals
  • Flag Frenzy

Anyone else have any they have tried and enjoyed either at home or in the classroom?
 
I have never tried a geography game. This is an interesting idea and has just stimulated my imagination. For example, one can have a map drawn on canvas. Then participants toss a marble on top intended to fall on any country which has some points assigned. However, for one to earn points, they have to be able to identify the country the bottle top has landed on.
 
My child has also played geography games on his digital encyclopedia. I'm amazed at how he enjoys placing continents and countries in their proper places. At first, I thought he would find it unexciting to play educational games but when we tried introducing it to him, he responded very well. :)
