This place is confusing...I think you're going to struggle with a membership if that's how you're doing things. Some people have loads of art and put it in a place like deviantart so I would've thought a DA topic would be appropriate for a section named "ART".

Well then they may submit their artwork here, not links to other sites where we can view it.

We will soon be adding a DA link so users may list their accounts on other sites like Deviant art, MySpace, youtube ect in their profile.

Perhaps it will encourage users to submit their best work, nevertheless we are an independent gallery so in order for your work to be exhibited here it must be uploaded to our servers. We hope users find submitting their work to Carpe Diem.iM as easy as possible including the option within modern browsers to add images & documents directly from their computer.

I think you are damaging your site by this stance and let me explain why. If you allow members to show off their work on mega big sites like Deviantart, they are more likely to add work here to showcaseand also tell others about it plus it may also increase traffic.

I think this is a better idea. Short sightedly, it can easily be taken as this forum being presumptuous, but in reality, it is a very good idea in application. I think that if an artist wants feedback on their work from members of this site, it should be on this site, so that members here may access it and respond to it easier. Simplistic as that.

I don't have an account, and I can't do art for toffee, but I do like to view Deviant Art and I'm frequently amazed by the quality and variety of posted images. Some people are truly brilliant.

I created account on deviantart many years ago, I was active and was frequently using the resources listed on the platform. However, I have not checked the site for many years. I don't if I can recover my account.

I have an account on website but unfortunately I haven't used it for years. I've very sure that the login details should still be saved on my laptop. I'm going to likely have it checked out to find out.
