This assignment includes the instructions for the writing a short story for a younger reader. The story can be a fun way to learn, have a moral to it, describe an adventure or a life experience. Students are asked to keep in mind their audience, the plot, describing their characters, motivating actions, setting and purpose. A rubric and peer review are included.
