It depends on your state, I think? For me, sometimes I'm so depressed that I honestly can't get out of bed and can't make my brain function properly, hence my creativity is diminished. But sometimes, the morbid thoughts in my brain allow me to write beautiful prose, which is helpful.

Those are good points, definitely! I can understand not wanting to use calculators for students who might pursue more mathematics-oriented studies and careers - but for general education such as elementary school and high school, I don't see anything wrong with letting students use calculators...

It depends on the book, honestly. I did greatly enjoy a few classics like Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, and more recent classics like Lord of the Flies by William Golding. But there are classic authors whose works I've never enjoyed like, sadly, Jane Austen.
