There was a student who was suspended when I was in grade school. I think we were in grade 4 when that incident happened. Our teacher caught a classmate selling snack items inside the classroom. The teacher reprimanded her but on the second time she was caught the teacher reported her to the principal that caused the suspension. The parents appealed and the school relented. I think that is a petty violation because selling is one way of encouraging the children in learning the value of money.
