All Ages Why do you love art?

Art whether I've seen or listened to makes me feel free. I can feel or see whatever I want behind an art. It feeds my senses. My life would be so boring without it. I am very open with any form of art that even the smallest things I do appreciate. Art fills my life with color and excitement.

Art supports the development of emotional intelligence. Just like the way how Science and Mathematics develop the rational thinking of students. Art supports the expression of complex feelings that help kids feel better about themselves and helps them understand others by "seeing" what they have expressed and created.

I have heard someone say once that everything is art. It really just depends on what you find beautiful because beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So of course, I can say I love art because you can find art in everything. It may be simple things, little things, underrated things but if they manage to inspire something deep inside you or stir up your emotions, I believe that is art. I love art because I associate it with freedom of expression and I would really love to be free and be who I am, even just for a little while.

For me, Art is a form of expressing yourself. for example, in painting, you can express what is in your mind or you can be creative. the most introvert that i know are the most talented.

To me, art is a very personal form of expression. It shows a person's aspects that you're unlikely to see in regular interaction. Since it's so personal, I think it's open to much subjectivity and no one will see a pice art equally. There are some qualifications that make expression "art", but to me, I see everything as a form of expression before considering it art.

Well, for starters, art can be interpreted in so many ways. They way you feel, your desires, your ideas, everything can become a form of art. As it comes in so many forms, many people tend to fall in love with art as it is something relatable whether it is tangible or intangible. It has also been an avenue for many to make a statement and to express someone's individuality. Personally, I have fallen in love with art as I love seeing people come together sharing their personal stories, talents and just bringing their own uniqueness. I love art and all of its kind.

Art generates love of learning & creativity.
Art helps the brain. Art increases focus.
Art teaches us how to solve problems. Helps us look at different perspectives for the same problem.
Art Supports emotional intelligence.
Creativity has always been essential to our humanity. It has taught us and created countless things.

Kind of cliche but there is a saying that goes, "The earth without art is eh." Imagine a life without appreciating art, it would really feel that there is something missing, art can not be confine just in paintings, drawings and film, it can be seen everywhere, from the buildings built by architectures to the roads and even to our mobile phones and laptops that are usually not created to be functional but also ideally to be aesthetically pleasing to the eye of the consumers. The world we live in is an art itself depending on how you view it through your art. Art is definitely an essential of life, it what makes us human

Autonomy. Simple as that.

I was never athletic and didn't ever feel comfortable socially, but give me a pencil and a piece of paper and I could not only entertain myself but create entire worlds and realities all to my own specifications. I was fortunate to grow up in a family who encouraged my creativity, and I drew all the time. Anyone who practices any craft for prolonged periods will develop advanced skills, and I did, and I was rewarded with praise. I became a kid who was good at something, and it fostered pride... self-esteem, where otherwise I was, quite frankly, a bit of an outcast.

I am friends with a professor of fine art at my local university. He has gone into prisons to teach art classes. He agrees with me fully that there are few better ways to afford the individual his own autonomy than facilitating his endeavors in the creative arts.

but other than that, I just like looking at pretty stuff.
