All Ages Who was your favorite history teacher and why?

My favorite history was my father, he was someone who would take his time to explain in every details what I need to know about any event in history and how to understand them perfectly. He would link it with what is happening currently in our society and explain it to the extent that I don't have anymore questions, we sometimes don't leave a topic except I have understood it properly and I am able to present it to him. It made me to top my history class.

I do not have a single history teacher that I liked. The last one I had in college had to teach me for two semesters and he was a nightmare. His discussions were difficult to comprehend, it was all over the place, and you have to really listen to understand. But his exams weren't easy to answer at all even if you did listen to his discussions because it was about organizing events according to what first happened until the last event. It's very difficult because he never did discuss this, because as I said, his discussions were all over the place. It was hell and everyone in class barely got passing marks.

My favorite history teacher is Lourd De Veyra. He wasn't really my teacher, he is a TV journalist. He had a documentary program about the history of the Philippines. His program made us interested to learn more about our country's history.
