Thеsе аrе thе rеаsоn why I mysеlf stаrtеd lеаrning Hаrmоniса аs my first instrumеnt.

Well I can definitely tell that it is not a saxophone. I tried that one as a kid and I remember feeling like the dumbest thing ever and then having to realize that I just should not have picked it. Maybe the recorder like others have mentioned, or the flute.

I believe that one of the simplest ones is the flute, considering the size of his hands, the ease of emitting sounds with the use of air, and the possibility of a quick familiarization with musical notes.

I believe kids like to play on drums, and it's easy to learn how. Drums are fun and create an amazing beat, if you ask me. Myself, when I was growing up I used to play on piano, but it was hard and I had a tutor. Drums is basically something common.

Here most kids start out with either a xylophone or a recorder - they're quite simple to understand even for little ones. I do think though that if a child seems to have a genuine interest in a particular instrument they should be allowed to pursue whatever they'd like - that's part of the joy of learning!

I agree that drums is much more easier for children to learn since I know for sure that they really love it and have a strong interest in it. Drums are easy to operate as long as you have the passion and interest to do it. I still remember when I was a kid I used to play drum instruments as I feel happy and satisfied whenever I am playing it.

If you're talking about the easiest one to start on, I'd say a percussion (drums, etc.). It doesn't take a genius to figure out basic beat patterns without outside help. Heck, I knew a 6 year old who could play a drum set (although only simple beats).

In my opinion, the easiest instrument that a child can learn is a Guitar. I know guitar is a well-known instrument used by so many popular artist wich means that there is so many tutorials about how to play a Guitar from basics to core. Unlike other instruments, guitar is one of the most sold instrument from time to time because there is so many affordable out there in our marketplace and you or they can learn playing it by watching Youtube videos about how to play a guitar.

I also believe that guitar could be one of the easiest instrument that some children can learn and play during their idle time either in school or at home since we do have a lot of tutorial in the web and some books to guide our children in playing a guitar. It is really easy to learn especially now that we are in the modern age of technology where everything is made possible now to know with the help of the internet.

I think the easiest music to play for kids is flute or drum just saying no need for step by step tutorial just playing and having fun

I think the easiest instrument a kid will easily learn will be a flute. because you'll just gonna blow it and there is hard on teaching it like guitar or piano.

Something that is well suited for children, Children can learn almost anything (and in fact, are much better at it than adults). Aside from physical limitations, the sky's the limit. In terms of physical limitations, a ukelele is better than a guitar, because they may be unable to reach the chords on a full-sized guitar. Other compact instruments include the violin, harmonica, or flute.

An instrument that can play in the school band or orchestra is probably the best for helping them build bonds and grow socially. Band kids from my high school are still a tight knit group years later. So instruments like the violin, cello, flute, or clarinet would be good in this regard. Piano players may be at a disadvantage, since only one or none are needed.

My children first instrument to play is flute but it is with the guidance of their teacher. So I think there is nothing particularly instrument is easy or hard for the children to understand as long as there is someone who can teach them well.

Playing the piano involves the eyes, heart, brain, hands and subsequently the feet — making it a great platform for children to develop cognitive functions, and coordination and multi-tasking skills.

Guitar will be my answer because of its mobility. We can practice playing this instrument where ever we are which gives us more time and will cost us less than other instruments. In general, kids mostly are better learners than adults therefore any instruments may do as long as they will love it.

Any instrument is easy to learn as long as the child is interested and there is someone willing to teach. Personally, I can't play any instrument but my sister learnt to play the piano and she's really good at it. Determine the interest of the child and learning would be relatively easy

Well I think the easiest instrument kids can learn to play will be drum or band depending on what it is called over there, I don't think playing drum require any skill or something that is why I see it as the easiest for kids.

I would say piano, but that would be a total misdirect. I once saw a 2-year old playing drums at my church and, surprisingly enough, if I was to follow the play with a metronome, it would have totally been sequential. It depends on the environment the child is growing in. Biology can be a factor.

I also believe that piano is the easiest musical instrument to learn for children. Most schools have a music subject, which tackles musical notes. Do-Re-Mi is also easy to memorize and apply in piano. Basic piano songs for children are Happy birthday and Twinkle twinkle little star. The melody is simple and the keys at the piano of these songs are accessible and within reach of the child's little fingers.

If you want the kids to have a skill that will be useful in the future, I think you should invest to an instrument regardless wether it's expensive or not. But I think anyone should learn piano. You can buy cheap keyboards for starters, it has cool effects built in on it. The base knowledge of all the instruments starts with piano, anything else would be easy to learn once you know how to play the piano. Guitar is also good but I'd definitely recommend the piano.
