What do you prefer? Homework or no homework?

Hello guys! What do you think would be a better choice? Giving students homework or not giving them? Or perhaps not making it mandatory?
Tell me your opinion guys!
 
Homework.
1. It is a follow up to class work and
2. It involves the parent in the learning of children.
3. Keeps children busy.

1. training and repetition of something will be embedded to your minds.
2. quality time which involves interaction with family.
3. helps them being able to understand it by themselves.

I believe that having homework is a good thing for students, rather than only learning in schools. but it doesn't mean that I don't want students to have time for themselves.
giving them home work doesn't mean they need to perfect it, but to be able to test their capabilities on what they have learnt.
 
I believe in homework, as long as it is nothing exceeding of 30-60 minutes (in total for all classes).
It is important to help children to figure things out for themselves and if needed, allows the parents to also take a role in the schoolwork of the child.
 
In my days, the homework is a big burden because it feels like the teacher is giving us a punishment. Why make the student write 2 pages in the notebook for the homework when that part of the lesson is better to be discussed in the classroom? But on the other hand, one teacher said that the homework is to teach the children discipline. Maybe I have to agree somehow.
 
I would suggest moderated homework. Children should also have some spare time to play. Activity is more important. It helps boost their mental capacity too.

Absolutely! There is an advantage both to having a structured homework assignment, to develop responsibility but also in having a free-play time, where the child simply plays as it wishes, developing a strong independent and stimulated personality.
 
Only the lazy students will say no to having homework done after the school periods. Homework or assignments as they are normally called are what helps to keep your mind and brain actively connected to the lessons taken in class. The more you work on a topic, the better you become at it. So, homework is definitely a must and a good thing for any student who wishes to excel in his or her academics.
