Recommendations for beginning photographer?

The place to begin with for good photos is the settings of your device. Some have low quality images as the default setting. Also adjust for the lighting and make sure you take the shots when there is plenty of light and at vantage angles. Take several shots of images and select the best. Its good to establish a niche in your photography so that its easy to get noticed and you could easily become an authority in the specific area you have chosen with time especially if it has low competition.

As a beginner photographer myself, I have learned that my best photos are those with good lighting! Lighting makes a vast difference, especially for those who aren't good at manipulating the camera's settings or using artificial light sources.

It's best to hold hands with a person who is professional at photography, myself I had such friend and he used to guide me through the process of learning.

One thing always trumps better equipment: training your eye for the right light/composition and for the right moment. That makes the difference between expressionless portraits and ones full of emotion. Or between boring, flat landscapes and vivid, engaging scenes. The phrase is worn out, but true: the best camera is the one you have on you.

I think a good camera will do a great job with a perfect lighting. Always be open to learn more new things and browse online to follow the moving and join new trends so you won't be behind.
