Philosophy of Believe

Is it true to think that we cannot say that anything that we know to be true or perceive that what the knowledge of what our past has brought us can or ever will be absolutely true except to "believe" that it is true. What is it that we know is true?

There are questions we ask with answers given that we can not possibly be prove the statement true, all that anyone can do is look at what knowledge has been bestowed upon them throughout their lifetime and determine only to them if they " believe " the statement to be true. With subject and language which we brought into existence thousands of years ago there is no determining fact of how we have what we know to be true except what we feel we "believe" what it is that we have given ourselves to be true.

How can one say what is true when it is originated from what we have decided to be true, and with that we cannot technically say what differentiates what is true and what is false... Believe

Beliefs are fleeting just as the seasons of nature are. They change any time we get new information that fits well with where we are at. Like most things though we need to let them go and not cling to what may have been true in the past.

It kind of varies from person to person. I think there's just to many things we don't know yet to just call thing we can't explain false.

I understand they philosophical point behind saying that nothing can be completely false, however is there never a point when science can come into play? There are things as humans that we have been able to scientifically prove through multiple tests and research to be true or false. Not everything is based solely in belief. As far as a persons beliefs in things that cannot be scientifically proven, I completely concur that it takes a closed mind to state that something they choose not to believe in is false. Beliefs can be extremely personal and volatile, and like defiler said vary from person to person.
