Morning run

This is one of my favorite pictures. This is one of the reasons I like living in the country. It was early morning and I was looking outside and noticed these two visitors in our yard. By the time I took the picture they were at the road. They were looking at my neighbour getting into his car.
 
I'd love to live in a place like that! Living in the city has its perks, but nothing beats the great outdoors. I hope to be able to make my dream come true some day :)

I hope your dream comes true as well! I think both city living and country living both have perks. I'm not far from the city maybe 15 minutes by car. There are days, especially in winter, when I'd rather live in the city but I have to say the smell of fresh air, being able to sit outside without constant noise and seeing the wildlife running around is wonderful. It costs more in gas and it takes time to care for property and there is the daily commute to work but I think its worth it.
 
I love this picture! I'm glad you were able to take the time and had the awareness about yourself to recognize this majestic moment. Probably the greatest experience that I had when I was running once occurred in Montana. I was student teaching at the time, and decided to go for a run on a long and semi-abandoned dirt road later at night. It was unnerving at first (there wasn't a soul around for miles), but once I reached the end of my run and turned around started to run back, I noticed the city lights far off in the distance. It was pitch dark out, the wind was blowing softly, and all I can look at were the city lights burning like a thousand miles of fire against the backdrop of the Montana mountains. It was absolutely amazing.
 
Awww, so pretty. Foxes are cute :). I think it's a really good picture you snapped! Glad you were able to get one and decided to share it!

I agree with everything you said, but I truly think the perks must out-weigh the cons. A daily commute to work driving through the countryside and driving through traffic in the concrete jungle is extremely different, I think it'd make me start the day with a spring in my step. I'd also love to be able to sit on my porch at night and see thousands of stars in the night sky, which is something I can't do due to noise pollution in the city.

Mark my words, I'll be living in the country some day! :D
 
Wow, that's a pretty rare thing. You never see that here in the big city, but I don't know, it's still a little dangerous to live in the woods.
