I haven't witnessed any bullying since I have moved to USA. Is bullying still going strong in schools? If yes, what are the repercussions that parents and school faculty are taking?

SourceCyber bullying is the use of technology to harass, insult, threaten, and/or intimidate another person. 12 It is increasingly in the spotlight as children and adolescents have easier access than ever to technology and online communications and engage with this technology on a daily basis. Victims of cyber bullying may experience higher levels of distress than victims of traditional bullying. Cyber bullying has been linked to depression, social anxiety, reduced self-esteem, substance abuse, and poor academic performance.
Bullying is always present, it has been since forever and it always will be. It only changes its form and progresses with the ways of society, so now most often there are examples of bullying through the internet and social media. Every school must have the team for prevention of peer bullying which should definitely include a psychologist and a pedagogue.
