This is a fantastic piece of art by Peter Callesen, his site is worth a look-around.

I think Johnny54 summed up the power of this piece very well: higher creativity requires proficiency in both the body and the mind - profoundly philosophical.

To me, the artwork reminds me of Buddha's final words, "All compounded things are ephemeral." We begin with a basic sheet of paper and therein the imagination of the artist is crafted into the world by building on something already there. Each artist shifts the basic fabrics of reality to the shape of their own self-expressions.

That's so pretty! I wonder what sort of glue he used (if he used glue?), and how he kept the paper from warping. Going to check out his site, definitely!
