Game Of Thrones - My current art project

Just thought I'd share a few pics of my current art project.
It is a large 4'x5' acrylic on canvas....it depicts different characters from HBO's Game Of Thrones. I began painting it to enter into HBO's fan art contest, but I didn't get it completed on time....it's still not done. :)
Anyway, I'm excited about how it's coming along, so I thought I'd share. :)

aww...really? No one has any comments? I actually haven't worked on this anymore...I was checking back here to see if anyone said anything in hopes of maybe increasing my interest to work on this project a bit more. Oh well, I guess that's what I get!
 
Oh, no, please do finish it! It' fantastic. You've really managed to capture all the characters wonderfully. I recognize all of them! I'm a fan of the show. I'm up to the 5th book in the series too.

You have a lot of talent for painting portraits and I really like how you placed the banner emblems at the sides of your painting.

Thank you so much, Cheerio! You just made my day. I think I'll try to get some more work on it today, actually. :) I've been working really hard on other things lately, and it's about time for a good painting break. Again, thanks...I really appreciate the encouragement.
 
It would be really great if you post more photos as the painting progresses.

I was really giving this a good look again, and I have to say, you really have the ability to capture faces. I think it's in the eyes. This is most apparent in the portrait of Sansa. Have you done any other portraiture work?
 
My son watches this show but I haven't seen it yet. You've done a great job of catching character in the faces! It takes me a long time to create faces, it's not one of my talents. Thank you for sharing this with us and I would love to see it when you have finished it. Please post it again when it is completed.
 
I love the portraits!! Each of them are so distinct and individualized! I've trying my hand at human faces for months now, and still they end up looking like cartoons. You have painted each face with an expression. Hope you'll be putting up more of your works soon. :)
 
Wow, I am pretty impressed! :) I am actually very much addicted to the show, Game of Thrones, and it's real nice to meet another fan of them. I totally love your art project. I wish I could create something like that as well. However, it's going to be close to impossible for me because I am not really good in art. Anyway, keep up the good work!
 
I don't really watch Game of Thrones but I have to admit that this painting is really great. It's a shame that you didn't get to enter the fan-art contest because I'm sure that you'll win the contest, or at least runner-ups :). I'm really interested to see if you have any other fan-arts for other TV shows, movies, or books. Anyway, keep up the good work!
 
Wow you paint marvelously and it's a wonderful art there, how I wish you made it on time you would have been successful in the competition, it's beautiful.

You are saying and afternoon, well that's if you have a skill in arts which I believe you do by your statements but it will take me like almost forever and will not finish it at the end. It's a great piece.
 
Oh! I'm surprised that this is already an old post. I thought this is new and related to the announcement today of Season 8 premiere date. Anyway, I'm also a fan of Game of Thrones. I haven't read the book yet, only watched the series. Your canvas is very nice. Hope to hear an update if this is completed. Good luck.
 
I also thought as much when I checked initially but I later found out it wasn't, I am a die hard Game of thrones fan and can't wait for the new season to be open because I will be among the first to watch it.
 
I'm a sucker for Game of Thrones and it so nice that you had drawn it. I am into painting and art as well. I hope you are still pursuing your passion up until today.
 
Woe, congratulations. Your art project is so perfect! I absolutely adore Game of Thrones, although I could rant about that final season disaster. Nevertheless, your work is really great, I really appreciate it, keep going and you will achieve greatness because you have a lot of talent! Cheers!
 
I didn't really like how the Game of Thrones ended and i still feel so sad, they could have thought of a better ending, i know all story doesn't have an happy ending but i need the Game of Thrones to be among those that would have ended in the best way possible.
