"Everything is energy and that's all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics."
~ Albert Einstein
If anyone has had the chance of watching the documentary called "The Secret" then this is the fundamental concept lying at its base – Everything is Energy. Even you.
I'm no scientist and I don't know the definite workings behind this theory. It seems a little -let's say, confusing – to me that, if everything is indeed energy, where does the solid mass that we see around come from? Energy itself has no mass, so if everything was to be made of energy, does it not follow that everything should have no mass too? (I'd be happy to read some explanation on this!)
Quantum physics now states that as you go deeper and deeper into the workings of the atom, you see that there is nothing there – just waves of energy, or an energy field, to be technically correct. It says an atom is essentially an invisible force field, a kind of miniature tornado, which emits waves of electrical energy. These energy waves can be measured and their effects seen, but they are not a material reality, they have no substance because they are… well, just electricity. So how can matter be made of electricity? Or how can electricity convert to solid mass…like a chair, or table?
I have no satisfactory answer.
However, I can understand it if the statement is put in this way – Everything in the universe has energy. Since every last material and non-material thing on Earth is fundamentally made of atom (and atoms have energy), they can be expected to each have their unique energy fields. In this context, I think it might be safe to say that everything is connected to each other on an energy level. Even WE!
As human beings, our bodies too are eventually made up of atoms – if you break a body down to its basics! We, too, have a specific energy field going about us that is possibly attracting and repelling other energy fields constantly without our knowledge.
Energy here is not be mistaken with glucose level energy that we speak of everyday, the lack of which makes us sluggish and exhausted.
When two energy fields are not in sync, it causes disharmony.
Dr Bruce Lipton, a former professor of medicine at Harvard University and author of the best-selling 'Your mind is greater than your genes', explains that if you drop two identical pebbles from the same height at exactly the same time into water, they will both produce the same wave ripples, i.e., their waves will be in harmony with each other, and when their ripples meet the combined effect will be an amplification of the wavelength – in other words the merged waves become more powerful. But if you drop the pebbles from different heights or a millisecond apart, then when the resultant waves meet they will not be in harmony and will cancel each other out – the waves become weaker.
If this theory is to be accepted, the same can be applied to us. When our energy field does not tally with the energy field of another person, object, etc, it wrecks havoc. And if this is true, there also has to be ways by which we can reach out to these energy fields, either to forge a link or escape the damage.
This is a very hodgepodge topic to discuss. There are too many unexplained grey areas. But we need to grasp this at least a little to be able to understand the articles that I'll put up later.
Till then, I'll be glad to read your views on this.
