I cannot explain my 2+ year obsession with this picture. I've simply grown to accept it.


Apparently, the artist sketched it in an afternoon, scanned it, then used Photoshop to color it.

This is great! It's kind of how I've always imagined Anubis: strong, regal, and unconcerned with those around him.
I love how simple it is yet truly riveting. Maybe it's the colors. They're just blending so well and look tangible, like Anubis has been carved out of stone or something.
