I don’t know that it’s necessary. If you’re a school that promotes diversity and kindness then students who may be LGBT shouldn’t have a reason to worry. Kindness is key! Understanding others is important through all stages of life.

I also agree. I think that of course it’s important to encourage students to contribute to class discussions, but calling on students who don’t have their hands raised can be anxiety provoking! Create an environment where students want to raise their hands to answer!

No - I can say that with complete honesty! I love my kids for the different personalities they bring to our family and I appreciate that about them. Might sound silly but I definitely feel like I love them equally.
