That's definitely not true across the board, but yeah, for a lot of women that's the case. I wonder why that is. Maybe the nerve endings are closer to the surface because there's not as much flesh on a smaller one, so they're more touchy?

Well if I wanted to describe it in a word, I would say "lighting." Lighting makes all the difference to a picture. I don't even mean necessarily the quality, but even the absence of light can completely change the mood of a photo.

I agree with Sandra. I put a lot of emphasis on that last line especially. Editing and condensing everything into a tiny time slot greatly skews the reality. They tend to pull things out of context for shock value, too, which makes it even less like reality.

What!? Did he know that you could hear him?? Geesh. And I agree that I'm quite thrilled to be on the smaller side. I still need a bra and I've been envious of larger boobs that fill out various outfits so much better than mine. In general, though, I'm so glad that I didn't get the super huge...

I'm not. I don't want to die tomorrow or anything, but I'm not afraid of it happening either. When it's my time to go, I'll go...and I have no idea when that might be. There's no use in being fearful of it, though.

Nope, I don't. I was raised in a way that we weren't religious, but I was able to explore and create my own beliefs. I didn't ever find that I believed in a god, so I still don't.

I don't personally have one because I can't draw in the first place, lol. My sister has a Wacom Bamboo, though, and loves it. She's had it for a few years now and still uses it regularly.

I really, really like that second one in the first post. I don't know what the story is behind it or what the child is thinking, but there is clear emotion. Both the eyes and the lips show that the child is fretting in some way or another....oh, those eyes!

Love it! His eyes are gorgeous. What is that on the left-hand side? A plastic bag or something? That kinda takes away from it from a photography point of view.

That's really gorgeous. <3 I really like that you captured the kids at the bottom and didn't try centering them in the frame. It lets the eyes wander from one end to the next.

Ooo, I really like those. I love how even though there's a ton going on in each, your eye is led from one direction to another, from piece to piece, without just feeling like a jumbled mess like some collages are.

I really like the No Name #2 one, as well as thehazey icon balls. all of them are really well done, but those are my favorites.

Even though I save as jpeg, I do choose the highest quality (or near the highest quality) allowed when saving through Photoshop. I wonder if that makes a big enough difference in the compression quality or if I should shift to png instead. Hmm.

The flames picture is my favorite of the bunch (ProjectBurn8 is the file name....I can't link to it). Is there a story behind it?
