All Ages Is it efficient to use e-book

It's practical the least to say in science subjects and general knowledge but when it comes to literature or history or other subjects of this kind I think it's better to have a real book, it just feels different in a positive way, reading history or literature and turning the pages is a unique feeling, you can't get that with an e-book, but either we like it or not it's going to be all e books in the future, so we might as well get use to it.

there are advantage and disadvantages of ebooks. if you are an old school that likes to collect physical books because for them they are their treasure. there is a lot of difference of ebooks and physical book.

I love books. I love reading books especially about God and prayers. I do believe that the very reason why most of schools used ebooks is because it is more efficient. It is also portable. You can bring a whole library in your handheld device if you use ebook which is something that you can't do to physical or traditional books.

Nowadays it seems most schools use e-books instead of books, what do you guys think about that.

It's practically what I used during my final year in the university and it's very exciting to read e books than printed books. Printed books are way too boring for my liking these days.

E-books have both advantages and disadvantages. They are less costly, they don't weigh down school bags, and e-book readers are efficient with features like bookmarking, searching for chapters, and adding notes. However, they require an e-book reader, which not everyone can afford, and can cause eye strain from prolonged screen exposure. My concern is accessibility for all students. Perhaps private schools with students belonging to higher income brackets can completely transition to e-book-based learning. But for other schools, less-fortunate students should have the option to buy a physical copy of the e-books.

Hard copy books and still the best, despite the fact that there are many reasons why one may want to prefer e-books.

Firstly, e-books can easily be replicated, making sharing it much more easier than hard copy books.

e-books are equally readily accessible, and are easier to create.

However, because we usually use e-books on phones and other tech devices, one is always prone to distractions as there are many things that can call one's attention when reading an e-book.

Also, gluing your eyes on screens are bad to eye health.

Hard copies are no no for me currently, in fact the stress of carrying it alone freaks me out. Ebook is one of the best things I've ever seen and appreciated that technology has brought to learning, it's the best in my opinion so far.

That's great. I guess you must have built a system that'd aid you in comabating the distraction that usually accompany reading an e-books; because that is a major problem for me.

I think what made it easy for me to get used to reading ebooks was because I'm already fully fed up with hard copies. So, the interest to push over to ebooks was dominant, thereby making a lot more easier for me to adjust to it.

You're definitely the modern man. People like myself are still stuck in old ways —prefering the hard copy over the soft.

Giving it up for e-books, I love them because they are easy to get. I mean, I can literally get any book I want to read without having to worry about leaving my house to visit a library of a bookshop (not forgetting the possibility that I may not find them there).
