Financial literacy - managing money
You see we teach students at universities what and how to do something to earn money, but we don't teach them how to handle money. How to spend money like smart people do. I would recommend a book called "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki. Teach your children, teach yourself how to manage money, how not to spend money on stupid things you think it's good for you. Invest in yourself and your children. Look at people who don't have a high education but they became millionaires, they thought them self how to handle money. "Some people are terrified of snakes. Some people are terrified about losing money.
Both are phobias,"
he would say. So his solution to the phobia of losing
money was this little rhyme: "If you hate risk and worry, start early."

As the saying goes, "It is not about how much you earn, it is on how much you save". No matter how big your salary is, if you don't know how to discipline yourself on how much you shop and buy, you will never improve your status in life. You will always be just that one day millionaire and at the end day when you are old and grey you cannot savor your savings and have nothing when emergency situations arise.

I agree with you. You will never enjoy what you might have in the future if you always spend your money on something that gives you temporary joy. It's better to always look at the future while we budget our money. Always know your priorities and always ask yourself before spending your money in the present.

Financial literacy is important. Even if you have a lot of money of you don't know how to used it, unwarranted expenses can drain anyone's pocket. It is better that we teach students to always be a spendthrift and make the most of their money for good.
