In the 21st century, the foundations of writing and technology are no longer separate entities. And the STEM initiative clearly illustrates the growing need for effective writing skills. This Web seminar will expose participants to a wide variety of web-based tools that are well suited for the development of writing skills. Teachers will learn how to use these tools for digital storytelling (i.e: podcasting and applicable apps). Katie will provide hands-on experiences coupled with great examples from classrooms around the country. All participants will develop a plan for integrating web-based tools into their writing curriculum.
