Recently, I realized that the total amount of money I paid to the school for one academic session was less than what I am paying for my child's monthly fee. A lot of talented kids cannot go for higher education because they cannot pay the fees. Why is education becoming expensive?

The rising cost of education stems from various factors. One significant reason is the increased demand for higher education, leading to more students pursuing college degrees. This demand puts pressure on educational institutions to expand facilities, improve services, and hire more staff, all of which come at a cost. Additionally, inflation affects all sectors, including education, driving up the prices of goods and services. Another key factor is the investment required for technological advancements in education, such as online learning platforms and digital resources. These advancements enhance the quality of education but also contribute to rising costs. Moreover, reductions in government funding for education have shifted the financial burden to students and their families. This trend has made education less accessible to talented students from lower-income backgrounds. Addressing these challenges requires a comprehensive approach involving policy changes, increased public funding, and innovative solutions to make education more affordable and accessible to all deserving students.

How do you think we can work together as a society to make quality education more affordable for talented students from all backgrounds?

They do not want to middle and lower classes to get educated anymore. I sat down yesterday and though so much about this, it is really getting alarming.
It is concerning to observe disparities in access to education based on socio-economic status. The perceived trend of education becoming less accessible to the middle and lower classes can have far-reaching implications for social mobility and equality. While there may be systemic challenges contributing to these disparities, it is crucial to advocate for policies and initiatives that promote equitable access to education. Collaborative efforts involving policymakers, educational institutions, communities, and individuals can help address these issues. Supporting initiatives that provide scholarships, grants, and financial aid to students from underprivileged backgrounds is vital. Additionally, advocating for increased public funding for education and promoting awareness about the importance of inclusive education can help drive positive change. By working together as a society to prioritize education as a fundamental right rather than a privilege, we can strive towards a more equitable and accessible educational system for all.

How do you think we can raise awareness and mobilize support to address the challenges of educational inequality in our communities?
