Teaching English could be fun by incorporating it into Roleplay. Kids would enjoy dressing up to different characters of the play and that means they'll enjoy memorizing the lines and delivering it. It would also boost their self confidence because they'll have their classmates and teachers as audience.
 
I agree. Roleplaying is one of the most enjoyable methods to learn English. As they study the lines, they will be familiar with the correct grammar and sentence construction. The teacher can also add a supplemental activity of analyzing the story's plot - this could improve reading comprehension. For higher grade levels, this could be a good way to introduce plot devices and symbolizations, too. I really believe that children learn best when they're having fun.
 
Teaching English lesson by role playing is so effective, because this is how my teacher teach us. He will give us a situation and he will let us make our own script then he will check the script if grammar is correct then after checking he will now grade us base on our acting but the biggest part of the grade is the pronunciation of every word, it should be right. I can say that it is so effective because we are gaining experience on speaking in English while learning.
 
Teaching English in class and then in role playing can both be likened to teaching theory and practicals. In the class all formal rules are obeyed, but when it comes to conversing in English in everyday life, what is taught in class may not be enough, at least from the start.

Both with role playing, it is practicalized.

It is indeed a phenomenal way to go about teaching English
