I agree. Religion should serve as our bridge to have a better and stronger relationship with God. Teachers should teach it with love since God himself operates with love. If students learn everything necessary in the religion subject, they will surely grow to become fantastic individuals.

No religion can save us. It is through Jesus Christ alone that we will. So it is vital for us to have a personal relationship with our Savior. We have to recognize that we are all sinners, repent for being sinners, and receive Jesus Christ - the Savior of the sinner.
