If it was about life, love and the pursuit of happiness, then we would seriously be ultimately limited as conscious beings. But our goal is genuine life, love and happiness no matter how we put it, in good terms or "evil" terms. I put the word evil in quotes to show the reality that perceptions are perceptions no matter how self benefiting or benefiting of others than self or destructive the action, we all want our own version of the goal.
