Implications of Large Language Models in Medical Education

This thread is for the general discussion of the Article Implications of Large Language Models in Medical Education. Discuss.
Ka's article explores the exciting potential of large language models (LLMs) to transform medical education by offering vast knowledge resources, but acknowledges the ethical considerations like patient privacy and information accuracy. While LLMs can't yet replace the crucial human element of patient history taking, the article opens a necessary discussion about the responsible integration of these powerful tools, addressing concerns about potential academic misconduct and blurred authorship lines in a future heavily influenced by AI.

Edit: I have also recently been updated on an accelerator event of a product called Medily. Ka Siu Fan. This app uses guidelines local to the UK to prompt next step history taking, it can also take a patient independently to a potential differential diagnosis. It would be worth trialling for your research.
