| Short Introduction: Idiomatic Expressions are a group of words that have a figurative meaning different from the literal meanings of each word on its own. It is a particular style or manner of expression often used by English speakers as a collection of wise sayings. Idioms allow authors and speakers to play with words by describing a situation in a more creative way. They also share cultural and historical information and broaden people's understanding of a language (Digital Polyglot, 2017). In this activity, the students will make their own idiomatic expressions with the help of the examples given by the teacher. Steps:
