Pleasure to meet you all online here and to engage in some serious and interesting discussions.

I currently reside in Denmark and my interests include sports, and football in particular, sports journalism and media, outdoor activities such as hiking, backpacking and climbing, playing guitar, communication, psychology, literature and many more.

Speaking of sports journalism, do you write it? That's an avenue we haven't really explored yet.

I have done very, very little work as a sports journalist writing about the football league at the university I study in, for a local website. Hoping to work in this field one day.
I've done quite some research on the area, however. The title of my Bachelor Thesis for the university is "Sports Journalism and New Media".
 
Hi Stewart! Welcome to CarpeDiem.iM! Seems like you are an outdoor person, much more than an indoor person by what you like too do. Are there any specific places you enjoy hiking?
 
I wouldn't say I'm an outdoor person, I'd say I'm both. If the weather permits I love to be out doing some activities, if it rains or it's cold I love just as much to read a good book at home. Depends on the mood as well.

As to specific places - it doesn't matter as long as I get to be away from the noise and the crowds of the city; any place where I can be closer to nature. Today, for example, I went on a small cycling trip for a total of 40km, past lakes and fields and through forests.
