Do you speak more than one language?

My mother tongue is English. I can understand a tiny bit of German and Spanish. I also know a moderate amount of American Sign Language. I have a fascination with Koine Greek translation, but that's a dead tongue that nobody actually speaks anymore.

How about you? Are you bilingual? trilingual? Fluent in them or just know enough to order a beer?

I only speak one language and that's English. I speak some French from French lessons at school, but it's definitely not fluent. Up to learning some more fluent though

At the moment, I can speak English and two of our local dialects. I am working on improving my speaking abilities of other languages, but still not good at it.

I speak English and French natively. My Italian is B2. I can read German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin with the help of a dictionary close-by. I was trying to learn Japanese while working at a Japanese restaurant, but I can't get a handle on logographic rather than alphabetic writing systems.

Being able to speak more than one language is a big flex. This is why I've devoted myself to learning them. As of now, I can speak Spanish, French and a little German language.
